“I found Mike via Facebook, and as I live in Leeds, I was directed to an in person consultation with Monika.
Honestly, I had no worries, it was a long-awaited icing on the cake for me. Previously, I was an active person and always trained, of course on my own way. For me, working with Monika was my reward, something I had been waiting for a long time. And I am very glad that I found her.
Monika helped me a lot in improving my technique, her motivation to “push forward and put my finger where it hurts the most” (literally) is invaluable. After training with Monika I am exhausted, but at the same time happy and I have energy for another hard week of work. The body gets “ass”, but the head rests amazingly. And this is probably what each of us is looking for when going to a coach, right?
My goal is shredded abs for my 50th birthday!
Why did I want change? Because that’s what I needed. At first, these changes were dictated by my health, I struggle with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s, and insulin resistance. I began to explore the topics of the impact of lifestyle on health. I was very interested in this field – the right way of eating and training, and this is a field of science that is incredibly addictive. The further I educated myself, the more interested I got, so it has become my passion. I am at this comfortable moment in my life where I can pursue my passions, because my daughters are now adults and independent, so I am taking advantage of this privilege. I am learning and developing in the field of dietetics, I am very open to all kinds of training and webinars, I feel that this is my 5 minutes in life and I have no intention of wasting it!
So far, I have learned a lot how and what to eat, compose healthy and tasty meals. Train smart and pay attention to exercise technique. I managed, or rather I worked hard to lose unnecessary fat. I remember about hydration and sleep, although I still have some struggles. I’m also learning to be patient, which I lack. Small steps, humility and consistency brings mega results.
Remember: Do it not for summer, but for years of better life, which I wish for you and me.
As I wrote before, starting this cooperation with Monika was something I was waiting for, so my next dream came true and I have a few more, but for now I will leave it to myself. I will not lie and say that I’ve lacked self-confidence, but it’s rewarding to watch how beautifully your body changes in which you feel even better.
Dear Women and Men, don’t let yourself be told that something can’t be done. Limitations are often only in our head.
The more possibilities you believe in, the more you will achieve. As you can see in my example, after 40 +++ it is also possible.
