Dominika's story

-12 kgs in 5 months

Hello,

I would like to share with you Dominika’s journey, with whom we had the pleasure of working personally at the gym. Let’s check what she has to say:

“Monika and I knew each other much earlier, she conducted personal training sessions at the gym in my city, I watched her from the treadmill whilst she lifted barbells and dumbbells thinking at the same time: “I couldn’t do that, it seems so manly…”

I’ve never had major problems with being overweight, I’ve always been active and I often go to the gym for cardio, I run long distances outside.

The situation has slightly changed through all these lockdowns, I noticed that my activity became less intense and an extra layer of fat was starting to show around my tummy, which started to irritate me.

So I just sent a message to Monika asking for  help and advice on how to lose those extra pounds, strengthen the body, gain strength and generally return to “the old Dominika”.

And that’s how our adventure began, and my first steps with strength training, although at first I was worried whether I would be able to cope with such a form, while not turning into a “buff” lady 😉

I was also diagnosed with “tennis elbow” but Monika perfectly selected exercises that helped regain my previous mobility.

Step by step, we worked on my technique, strengthening weak points and, above all, building amazing eating habits that gave me a sense of security and not constant limitations …

I set a goal for myself and focused 100% for those 12 weeks, there were also holiday plans ahead of me and I really wanted to look better at the beach.

Individually tailored training under the supervision of Monika at the gym, quickly brought the expected results, the weight began to drop, the figure looked better and better from month to month, and I finally learned how to move freely in the sphere of nutrition.

All changes and habits will stay with me for the future, I am happy with how I look, but at the same time I set new goals for myself because as they say – appetite grows with eating…

I am no longer afraid of barbells or dumbbells, I choose the type of activity that gives me pleasure, and in addition to two sizes smaller shorts, I also packed my beloved running shoes in my holiday bag!

I highly recommend working with Mike’s team, both in person and online, these people really want to help sincerely and you can always count on them!
